My favorite piece that I've sewn is a simple A-line floral dress with capped sleeves because it was my first dress ever, it turned out lovely, and I still enjoy wearing two decades later.
I bought myself one Christmas a roll of architect's tracing paper - easy to see through, and actually quite thick. There's a supplier in Sydney that has really wide rolls in white or yellow. I've nearly finished the roll, and it's been almost 10 years.

That's so great that you're still wearing your dress!
My favorite and most worn “me made” garment is a pair of black linen pants that I sewed last year. I’d wear them every day if I could
Lovely! Would you make a second pair?
Certainly! I planned to this summer but didn’t get around to it. It’ll happen next year for sure
So fascinating to hear about the conversation piece. The collective effort is indeed mind blowing. 💛
